Welcome

We are so glad you are joining us for VBS 2021 at Faith Church Kingstowne. Our own team of torchbearers is excited to share the good news of the Gospel with your children, as well as encourage them to become torchbearers of their own, sharing that Good News with others. Games, crafts, Bible Stories, and music will all be a part of this year's week-long event. 

DINNER

We are very excited to offer dinner to you and your family in addition to an excellent VBS program. Parents are encouraged to come and eat with their children before the start of the VBS program at 5:30 pm Monday-Friday. 

COVID 19

We don't want anyone to get sick while they are having a wonderful time at VBS. We ask that all parents do a health assessment of their children every day before attending. Before you come, please answer this question: Has any member of my household experienced fevers, shortness of breath, sore throat, or recently been exposed to someone with COVID19 in the past two weeks? If so, please stay home.

We are praying for great weather to host VBS around the church property outside. As the CDC has relaxed the rules for mask-wearing outside with social distancing, we will only ask students to wear masks if we need to move indoors. Please provide your child with a mask in case weather prevents us from meeting outside. We will use hand sanitizer regularly to mitigate the spread of all types of germs, including COVID 19. 

We are particularly thankful for a team of volunteers whose job is to sanitize and ready the church for the next day. 

As such, by signing up and attending VBS associated with Faith Church Kingstowne, you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that you and your family may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19. You also acknowledge that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and/or others, including, but not limited to, ministry employees, contractors, volunteers, members, and participants and their families. You agree to assume all the foregoing risks, waive liability against the ministry and any other listed parties, and accept sole responsibility for any illness, injury, disability, or death to you or your family, including all claims that may arise resulting from any of these.
