Dear Parents,

Thank you for bringing your child to Barnyard Roundup Vacation Bible School, where Jesus gathers us together!

What is the Barnyard Roundup VBS? In Barnyard Roundup VBS, your children learn that Jesus, our Good Shepherd, gathers us together! They’ll look into the Bible, God’s Holy Word, and explore five farm-tastic Bible accounts that teach us how God is with us, provides for all our needs, and protects us now and forever! Jesus, our Savior, cares, provides, leads, and forgives us! 

Take home the Take-Home Point! Each lesson, we’ll share a Take-Home Point, something about Jesus at work through them to remember always. Repeat this with your child often!

Read the story with your kids: The student leaflets have a picture of the lesson, the Bible story, and where to find the story in the Bible, God’s Holy Word. Read and talk about it with your child. God’s Holy Word will make lasting impressions on the hearts and lives of your family.

Bible Memory Verse: Your children will explore, learn, and remember each lesson’s Bible Memory Verse from God’s Holy Word in Green Pastures Bible Challenge! Say the verse together often. Sing the verses and watch the videos on the Moovin’ and Groovin’ Passalong CD & DVD! 

Closing Celebration: Your child will want to tell you all about Barnyard Roundup VBS, so plan on attending the Closing Celebration at 11:30am on Friday, June 10.  

Mission Project: As part of Barnyard Roundup VBS, we share God’s blessings with other children through Heifer International.  All offerings collected during the week will go towards purchasing farm animals for families in need worldwide.  More information about Heifer International may be found at heifer.org.
