The Higher Things® Sanctified 2018 Vacation Bible School focuses on the Ten Commandments
"And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules." (Ezekiel 36:27)
We have taken the approach of simply letting the Word of the Lord and the Small Catechism teach what the Ten Commandments are and what they mean for our lives. Even children of preschool age are not too young to answer the question, “What is the First Commandment?” with the answer that it is “You shall have no other gods.”
Vacation Bible School is open to all children ages 3 through elementary school. Students will be divided into four age-based groups: Preschool & Kindergarten (3-5), Lower elementary (6-7), Middle (8-9), and upper (10-11).
The fun and learning start on Monday, July 9th and goes through Friday. Each day, beginning at 10am and going until 1, students will learn from God's Word and how He teaches us to live in relation to Him and those around us (our neighbors). Snack is provided by the church, hot lunch provided and administered on-site by Lebanon Community Schools.
Parents/guardians please note, if your child has dietary restrictions, it is your responsibility to inform our volunteers. If your child has special behavioral needs, we request that at least one parent stay with the child during VBS.
